- Airlines - Atlas Air (Ad Hoc Bondholders’ Committee); Braniff (Shareholders); Business Express (Major Creditor); Delta Airlines (Debtor); Eastern Airlines (Acquiror of Assets); Pan Am I (Acquiror of Assets & Plan Funder); Pan Am II (Major Creditor); Rich International Airways (Lessor/Joint Venturer); TWA (Major Creditor); US Airways (Major Creditor) and United Airlines (Major Creditor); and

- Products liability claims in Chapter 11 cases, including the successful reorganization of Piper Aircraft Company, the decision of which was principally attributable to the treatment proposed by Stroock and Piper for future claims;
- Cross-border insolvency cases, including the successful restructuring of Central Transport Rental Group plc/Tiphook Finance, one of Europe’s largest transportation equipment rental companies; and
- Infrastructure and project finance matters, including representing investor groups and governments in connection with concessions and privatizations regarding airports, roads, rail and European urban transport systems. Clients have included Radian Asset Assurance, Dakota, Minnesota & Eastern Railroad Company, the State of Israel, where we advised on that country’s first-ever BOT project financing, and the Government of Hungary, where Stroock attorneys advised on several road concessions, including the first privately financed toll road in Eastern Europe.
