In particular, we are nationally recognized as experts in the defense of the consumer class actions that increasingly are being brought against financial services companies.  Our attorneys have defended hundreds of such actions within the past few years alone, addressing a wide range of class action-related issues.  We have argued twice to the California Supreme Court as lead counsel on issues of critical concern in connection with the defense of class actions – Washington Mutual v. Superior Court (Briseno) and Discover Bank v.
